Mouse Control
I have mice in my house. I’ve plugged every hole I can find and put out traps. I don’t think they’re coming into the living area any longer, but I can still smell them in the kitchen. I’d appreciate any advice on how to deal with them since they’re still in the walls and if…

I’d appreciate any advice on how to deal with them since they’re still in the walls and if anyone knows a good exterminator. Thanks.
NO MORE MICE = VICTOR® Electronic Mouse Trap.
I bought it at Lowes for $19.97. It’s a quick humane way to kill mice with a no-mess way of disposing of the mouse once dead.
Here’s all you need to know about the device:

from the recommendations on this board, i contacted charlie (646-299-6810). he came on a saturday within 3 hours and plugged all of the holes we had and laid poison. he was sensitive to our concerns about our pets and our kid. money well spent on a nice guy.
I’ll give the cat another vote. My cat, although lazy and old, will jump and chase a mouse like a kitten. After its dead, he promptly goes back to sleep.
I remember once that he sat next to the stove and waited for a mouse he heard under the burners. As soon as the mouse had climbed out of the range, Dorko was on him.
Oh and no I didn’t name him. He was already “Dorko” when I got him. He responded to his name just fine so I didn’t try to rename him.
Have you had a dog or been leaving food out? I had a neighbor who couldn’t figure out why they had mice all the time but it was because they were always leaving dog food and other food out.
Rat Zapper is EXCELLENT!!! I have used it for 4 years. Works everytime. Mice will always find a way in. Always. You can never fully seal everything.
Then try Stuffit. I bought it online and if you very diligently plug up holes, it will help. That means that you have to work at moving furniture and appliances and make sure that all of your radiators and pipes are packed too. I don’t know what to do when you hear them in the walls- not much to do about that except the cat thing…mine used to watch one area of a wall like she was watching a tennis match…
Hope people want these cats and are not using them simply as exterminators. Try the Rat Zapper 2000, sells in the hardware store and can kill big rats also.
Can you have a dog? Jack Russel terriers were bred as ratters and will hunt anything small and furry.
Everyone–Thanks for all your advice. Unfortunately, a cat won’t work for me. But I appreciate the referrals too.
