I just looked at an apartment that MAY be a good deal on the border of Crown/Prospect Heights. It’s a condo building that’s been gut renovated, BUT — I looked in the laundry closet on the top floor and saw MOLD on the ceiling. Is this a deal-killer? How do I make sure it hasn’t spread and that it isn’t dangerous? I’ve heard that mold “experts” may over-sell the idea that mold will make you ill.
I’m in need of 10 doors. Interrior= #3 30″x80″, #2 24″x80″ #4 24″x80″ louvered, #1 30″x80″ louvered and #1 32×80″ exterrior. Can you tell me a little about what you have? Quality, condition, material?
If there’s an apt above you, you might want to check if there’s a leak up there. You might have to replace the ceiling anyway. Once mold is in there, it’s nearly impossible to get out completely.
Chances are the room isn’t properly ventilated. Have an exhaust fan put in.
