We’d love to hear any comments or feedback on the mulitaqua chilled water system that we are considering for our new home in park slope. this system comes highly recommended by our hvac contractor, but would love to hear personal feedback before we go ahead. thanks

Wow, I didn’t think people used this typr of system anymore. I managed a store in Somerville, NJ in 1975 with a chiller system. We had to run it all night to cool the store down, and by 3:00 the next afternoon, we had to open the doors to re-cool the store, it had built-up so much heat. It was very expensive to operate and maintain, and didn’t do the job at all. I’d talk to another contractor.
talk to more contractors…
I have seen them used in older homes. The cool part is the absence of duct-work. I am considering a system for my home the only consideration is the fact that each room unit needs to drain water which will require either a pump or a close drain line.
