Woodworker for Bannister and Spindles
Looking for a good but reasonably priced woodworker who would strip and refinish 3 stories worth of banister and spindles. Anyone know how much I should expect to pay for such a labor intensive job?

We’re in the middle of the exact same task. One tip: have the stripper/refinisher remove the spindles and do the work off-site. It’s cleaner, you’ll get a better result, and it will probably cost you less too because the spindles can be worked on more efficiently when they are not in place.
I had a great job and resonable price from Anthony at Sunset Strippers, 718 798 0273; 917 664 2873.
Prepare for an awesome Jamaican patois. My name is Lynn.
prices vary, depends on if stripping paint or varnish; also on detail, and degree of difficulty.

ps. you really don’t want a woodworker doing this job, you need an experienced refinisher
