A few weeks ago we were wondering what the prices were going to be like at the Clermont Greene, the 73-unit condo under development at 174 Vanderbilt Avenue in Fort Greene. Now we have some data points. Nine units just popped up on StreetEasy. Prices range from $350,000 for a 518-square-foot studio up to $1,050,000 for a 1,539-square-foot three-bedroom. According to the listing verbiage, almost every apartment has some outdoor space. There’s an open house this weekend, though it’s hard to imagine what there is to see yet.

  1. I was very interested but the Brazilian teak hardwood floors is a problem for me. I can’t believe in this day and age a developer with a blank slate would CHOOSE an environmentally destructive material.

  2. i went to the open house on sunday. there is only ONE studio available for the entire development and it’s located on the first floor of the vanderbilt side next to the garages. that said, it seems like it will be a nice development based on the floor plans and amenities. they are due to open a model condo at the end of jan. and occupancy is scheduled for end of august. i still think it’s a bit on the pricey side.
