Development Watch: 777 Driggs
777 Driggs, between South 3rd and 4th Streets, is moving towards completion. We don’t know how long the building has actually been in construction but the new building permit was filed back in 2008. The project will have eight units when all is said and done. What do you think of it? GMAP P*Shark DOB

Can ANYONE tell me when the LAST brownstone was built? This is the wave, for good or ill, of new construction.
A perfectly contextual addition to the eye-bleeding ugliness that is new Williamsburg. Especially the swoppy cornice–yeesh
so are these gonna be condo or rental?
It’s not that disagreeable… but SERIOUSLY, they could have spent, what, another $2,000 to make those fake balconies into real ones?! So ridiculous.
But benson will like it. 🙂
Should be called 777 Dreggs.
Seems to me that development has poking along for ages – not exactly stalled, but not exactly surging across the finish line, either. But yeah, now that Pies n Thighs is finally open, they should take advantage – the ultimate Williamsburg amenity.
bet you can smell Pies n Thighs from those balconies.
