Here’s what the hotel at 40 Nevins Street will look like! The rendering comes from Barone Management, who is partnering with CBCS Equities to build the development. Despite DOB permits specifying 12 stories and 182 units, Barone’s website says there will be 204 rooms and 13 stories. There will also be a full restaurant, a fitness center and conference facilities in the not-yet-branded hotel. It’ll be finished in third quarter of 2014. At a recent site visit we found construction equipment on site, but no actual work. You can see a picture after the jump. Meanwhile, over at 300 Schermerhorn, excavation work is well underway. That’s the 14-story, 247-unit Holiday Inn that should be finished by December 2014. Here’s a very old rendering for that one.
