We’ve been keeping our eye on the papered-up storefront at 82 6th Avenue for awhile, so imagine our excitement when Here’s Park Slope posted that it’s going to be a beer bar. The owners of the previous restaurant there, Helios, are renovating and will have “specialty beers and long, communal tables both inside and outside.” Good times! GMAP

  1. I agree it’s a concern that the Helios team is still in place. On the other hand, isn’t it a given that you find the best service in busy restaurants? When a place is slow, the wait staff just completely go off the boil.

  2. I’ve always admired the fantastic glassed in space (conservatory?) on the second floor. I wish they could have been a bit more sensitive with the ground floor storefront. Just using bronze colored metal would have made a world of difference.
