Norman Oder is about as unbiased as Fox news. Even though I support AY, I’ve tried to read his articles, but have never succeeded, given how poorly-written and turgid they are. He’s the worst “journalist” I’ve ever seen and it’s no wonder that legitimate news sources would never carry his work. Even those raders who might be interested in what he has to say can’t finish his articles.
Again, brownstoner, stop linking to this amateur’s blog and post something that people will actually enjoy.
as someone who lives in PH (albeit well outside the AY footprint), i kind of wish someone slightly less nuts (and less biased would help, too) than Norman Oder cared to follow the AY story so closely. I try to read his updates but my eyes glaze a paragraph in (which, for him, is about half a sentence).
“Where does the FED get its dollars to buy Treasuries?”
Thin air.

I’ll rent for five more years if the bottom doesn’t come, spouse willing. What’s the rush? This is an economic depression and will be retroactively called as such, just like the 2007- recession. What’s to come will be read and asked about by your neices and nephews.
“Do you understand that if you had gotten a 15 year mortgage back in 1995 when the market was still cheap that you’d be living rent-free now?????????????????”
EXAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACTLY! That’s what I’m waiting and saving for! Mean reversion. A return to normalcy. Better yet, more money down on a cheaper house. Lower monthly nut, higher upside.
No free lunch for hyperinflated home prices. The piper will get his.

“A witness followed the van, with the gunman on board, and at one point, one of them pulled out a gun and made treats, causing the man to back off the pursuit.”
Maybe because they weren’t kosher treats.
DIBS-
Where does the FED get its dollars to buy Treasuries? Just curious.
Thanks.
You’ve rented for how many years now, BHO????
Do you understand that if you had gotten a 15 year mortgage back in 1995 when the market was still cheap that you’d be living rent-free now?????????????????
Collapsing ask. No shit, I’m not a buyer/bagholder at all.

A nice gesture but small consolation. Remember to brush after snacks.
