  1. I think having a really bad childhood is like having a substance abuse problem. You can go a long time without realizing how bad you have it and how it has affected your life. Then you get that crash and burn moment, and you know it’s time for help. I guess rob hasn’t experienced that yet. While I won’t wish that he does, it might be best for the long term.

Glad to see Haagen Dasz had the best strawberry ice cream, cuz I always thought it was pretty good.

  2. Maly, that was nice. Cognitive therapy is the best.

I was shocked and disappointed to read in the ice cream article that most of the makers use this strawberry puree crap. No wonder strawberry ice cream is mostly awful. No need to pay $8 a pint for that.

Someone has got to start making ice cream with the Mexican paleta fresh fruit techniques. That I will happily pay extra for.

OK, I confess I have a bad Van Leuuwen mint chocolate chip habit.

Rob — You’re wrong… the article gives examples of how the whole country is following the lead of NYC and Beverley Hills! NYC won’t be expensive soon… everywhere will be overpriced! It’s gonna be sweet.

well therein lies the problem, no? f*ck them, it’s time to just start stealing the shi+ you want.
