I heard hail on DeKalb Ave. but didn’t see any accumulation. My friend on Waverly also heard it, and saw none. At the same time, a nearby house on Washington saw a ton of hail and a friend farther down DeKalb saw accumulation. I think it was localized.
“We actually ddn’t get the hail in Bed Stuy. I suspect there are far more sinners in Park Slope.”
“We sure did get hail in bedstuy. Stood watching it with the kids.”
Lack of hail on DIBS block due to lack of sin there? I must be reading an unauthorized early draft of the old testament. There seem to have been some changes in the final version.
Where in the Daily News article did it state that Will Smith was moving to Brooklyn? This just sounds like some sleazebag’s PR machine at work.
“Will Smith isn’t just a movie star – he’s prime real estate bait. So, we’re not surprised that developer Mendy Gorodetsky has offered the actor the swanky, 2,300-square-foot duplex penthouse to his new rental building at 75 Grand Ave. in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, free of charge, while Smith is filming “Men in Black 3.” (The film is in preproduction at nearby Steiner Studios.) The apartment boasts 16-foot-high ceilings and mezzanines, full-aperture windows and European custom cabinetry. And if the crib itself isn’t enough of an enticement, Gorodetsky’s offer includes “ensuite meals” delivered by nearby Choice Market and “between-takes chocolate massage treatments” from Clinton Hill’s Body By Brooklyn. So far, Smith hasn’t responded to the offer. Maybe it’s that line about the chocolate massage.”
WE got tons of hail and my basement flooded. Certainly the highly unusual weather of late should give people pause to think about is there a human connection. Not even considering the possibility is irresponsible at best.

“So far, Smith hasn’t responded to the offer.”
Shocking.
“Maybe it’s that line about the chocolate massage.”
Couldn’t have helped. Maybe it’s just Clinton Hill (Grand/BQE – Ha! Dream on…)

DeLepp, we did not get any over here.
dibs, you didn’t get any hail? I figured next to CH you would have had to gotten some. Had a pile of it in balcony.
