  1. Chucky paid too little.

“…in 1982, when Mr. Schumer was a state congressman, he and his wife, CUNY vice chancellor Iris Weinshall, spent about $157,000 on an apartment in a prewar doorman building on Prospect Park West.”

    157,000 x (1.04, historic inflation)^(28, years) = $471K!

“…but it’s worth much more, probably ten times that.”

I’m only calling half off, to $785,000 if his assessment is in the ball park.

    ***Bid half off peak comps***

  2. No, Pete, it’s on the west side of Clinton Street, between Verandah Place and Warren Street, between Ted & Honey and the former Cafe on Clinton. I knew that was going to be the pic! (The mean lady lives on the north side of Amity between Henry & Clinton.)

  3. i dont know… i dont like the idea of restaurants having to post letter grades in their windows. it’s way too nanny state and too subjective. i mean jeez, why doesnt nanny bloomberg insist all citizens wear bright lapels with our weight, height, and age listed on them as well!? oh yeah and lets also put what our blood pressure is. this city is lame. if you think a restaurant is dirty you dont eat there. newsflash, all restaurants have rats and roaches and 65% of all restaurant employees dont wash their hands and peeing and crapping and god knows what else!

newsflash there is more fecal matter at any given time on the subway poles than on your home toilets!!! which was proven on some show aboug grody thing using fecal vision goggles.
