Oh I’m drawn to Machina Cycles! (I ride & drive in my mind)
Met the owner, Euvin and we chatted briefly. Cool guy. He wore a cool black jacket too.
Christmas trees are not religious symbols, a Menorah is. You will not see a Christian cross or a Nativity Scene at City Hall for this very reason. I would not object to a giant spinning Dreidel or a giant potato latke as these are non-religious symbols of the Holiday Season. Menorahs and Crosses should not be constructed on government property. It sets a bad precedent of government endorsement of religion.
Actually my photo was much better 🙂

And it’s 9th Street just off of 3rd Ave.
GrandPa- ever look at all the Xmas trees built on public property (take a walk over to City Hall for instance). Why not bitch about those too?
That was my mechanic’s old location. I’ve never checked out the new guys, but I’d be surprised if you found anything special inside. You won’t do too bad grabbing a drink and meal at Bar Tano, though.
I’m just interested in whatever other antique cars might be in the garage!!!
DIBS, it’s in your much-despised Park Slope…imagine. The garage is on 9th St. near 3rd Ave., right next door to Bar Tano (which has beautiful tin ceilings and walls).
GrandPa – because most people find menorahs and Christmas trees festive for the few days a year they’re there, and aren’t so curmudgeonly to bitch about it.
Which ever big box retailer opens in Brooklyn, Home Depot, Target, ect. they usually break all national sales records.
