Amazing how Solis in Fort Greene is doing, compared to its many neighbors. Read somewhere last week that sales were at ask or close. Saw units a few months back. Fab, but what the heck gets ask these days.
I remember sitting in Gorilla Coffee in 2004, reading Spin magazine’s article on the 10 year anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s suicide.
Now I go there to sit while my laundry cycles through. Usually around 7:15 am.
I’m totally charmed by that place.
I have almost EXACTLY that same photo on my cell phone, taken by my then girlfriend last July.
Those Gorilla coffee people are insane. Everyone had forgotten that stupid kerfuffle!
