Closing Bell: STooPS Brings Performances to Bed Stuy Streets

The third annual STooPS festival brings performance and art to the streets, stoops and gardens of Bed Stuy. Homeowners around the neighborhood are collaborating with local artists, bringing mini performances to their stoops and sidewalks.

The mediums will include dance, music, theater, visual art, spoken word and film/video. Local businesses will be involved too.

At the end of the event, the Culminating Performance will be held at Bed Stuy Restoration West Plaza and will include Noel Pointer Foundation’s Phantazia String Players, dancers from the Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center, and Tai Allen.
