I think so, Dibs, but the issue though is that it is under the most humongous tree you ever saw and it is constantly producing debris. It is a Norway maple and it drops those little whirliwigs, leaves, and in the fall lots of trash. It towers over the house itself which is 4 floors. I wonder though about using bleach — never used it on the bricks but that makes sense.
I think the guy in Sister’s Hardware did a double take when I went in to buy a new hose — hair wild with leaf material in it, covered in garden and masonry dust. I said “Honey, you wondered what the brownstone aristocracy looks like, this is it!!” I have to buy a power cleaner for next year; the patio is looking beautiful. Serious terror though with the guy drilling my stoop……
How do I post a picture in a thread?
Lucky you, Lechacal! I, too, am a lawyer, which means of course I’m still at work at 7:00 p.m. Maybe I’ll scoot out early tonight.
Hi!
I love not going to work.
Life is beautiful.
I’ve used bleach and a scrub brush on my blue stone patio to good effect.
Sister’s Hardware has probably been there a little longer than you, when Fulton St. was not what it is today. I don’t think anything scares them!

“You should see my desk here. I am definitely NOT anal retentive.”
Yeah, Dave, definitely not the context in which I would call you “anal retentive”. This is the OT after all.
😉
donatella, once you get it power cleaned, yearly maintenance should be a lot easier with bleach and a scrub brush. No????
