Oh, god, I wish I had not read that homeschooling article because if I meet those people at the playground I will have trouble not offering their children cheetos and pepsi, just because. Let’s tally it up again, shall we? How many “alternative” educational schools do Fort Greene and Clinton Hill have now?
1.)the “Rad” school featured in this article
2.) Trilok
3.) Waldorf
4.) Brooklyn Free School
5.) Greene Hill School
6.) Community Roots (public charter)
7.) Coop School (preschool-only, but aren’t they expanding?)
For a neighborhood less than a mile wide, this seems like a lot. I think it’s more than Park Slope, for example.
Re: Brooklyn Eagle Bicycle Backlash
Dennis Holt got his facts wrong when he stated: “I would guess that about 40 percent of the men don’t wear helmets, a violation of the law.” No law requires adults to wear a helmet while bicycling. Of course, it only demonstrates that the rider has no brain worth saving. Still the statement is incorrect.
Furthermore, the following statement “Some people probably can’t afford the night lights and mirrors and reflectors that seem to be required. ” indicates that Holt is unsure about the regulations. As a cyclist who follows the rules, I find myself in a constant uphill battle against the infrastructure, ignorant motorists, and the legion of lousy, entitled bicyclists who ruin it for the most of us who are trying to set a good example and operate safely and courteously.

Kegel exercises.
***Bid half off peak comps***
CPI = cooked price index. Credit/money supply is deflating.
***Bid half off peak comps***
BHO, again you fail because you don’t know the facts. CPI is still positive.
“I bet it’ll [housing’ll] beat inflation.”
I agree. It beat it on the way up, it’ll beat it on the way down (negative inflation – deflation, get it?).

this is going downhill fast….
My favorite football team….not much to root for in the last 20 years.
