The headline pretty much says it all. The new Subway location at 713 Fulton Street that we noted last month opened this morning with requisite flags and balloons. A little deeper into Fort Greene, the popular Cobble Hill Thai joint Joya opens a new location at 723 Fulton Street on, we hear, Monday.

  1. What’s wrong with Subway? They are clean, have consistent quality (average) and the employees are typically very pleasant.

I’d take Subway over a Five Guys (which seems to be yuppie acceptable garbage fast food) anyday.

  2. Sorry Zinka,

Not everyone in Brooklyn wants (or can afford) to eat out every night at a new american locavore vegan organic restaurant.

    Chains do exist.

Subway is far from the worst of them.
