Since when has a hurricane been a reason not to go flea marketing! We’ve got some strong new antiques vendors on tap as well as the debut of sweet cream corn popsicles. A great way to beat the heat. The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays from 10 to 5 at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues; take the C train to Clinton-Washington or the G train to Clinton Avenue) and on Sundays from 11-6 in Dumbo underneath the Brooklyn Bridge at the corner of Water and New Dock Street.

I braved the rain to try the cornsicles and… they didn’t show up! Wimps.
I’m moving and in the market to pick up some furniture pieces. Have never been to a flea but assume the furniture is cash and carry. I don’t have a car and my friends don’t have cars…How do people get items from there to home? Thanks.
Agreed, those chairs are snappy!
Someone please try the sweet cornsicles and report back.
absolutely love those chairs!
