Yesterday there was a huge production crew at the Green Building on Union. Besides the trucks, cameras, and a carousel set up inside the building, what really stuck out was that the Green Building is no longer green! One side of the building is now light yellow with the other side getting repainted a darker shade of green. We’re guessing it must have been painted for the film shoot, otherwise someone needs to find a new name for this place. GMAP
There’s an FAQ page on the blog: http://www.greenunionblog.com.

Anybody know how much their event rental rates are?
I’ve seen a few parties there myself over the summer.
I looked at that place for an event for my organization; it’s a raw but very cool space. It didn’t work for our party but the people running it are very nice and it seems like they are making a go of it – I’ve seen wedding receptions and other parties in that space while driving by.
what a bummer, i liked walking by it when the sun was low. gave some character to that area.
As of 4PM today it was olive green.
At least they kept the Italian tri-colors on the chimney. They know what is sacred!
Yeah, I hope they repaint it. I liked that color!!!
