Closing Bell: Tree Removal on Lincoln

In our second tree removal post of the day, a reader sent along these pictures of a removal that happened the day after the storm on Lincoln Place. Another reader, who lost a tree on Sterling Place, lamented that “Our block got an honorable mention from the Brooklyn Botanic garden competition for “Greenest Block.” So the loss of this tree is even more upsetting, especially the Block Association members who worked so hard to plant the tree beds and water every day.” What a bummer.
