The other day we ran into Brooklyn Mobile, which is a makeshift video camera that travels mostly through Downtown Brooklyn and uploads what it records to its Youtube Channel. (This was stationed in Boerum Hill, near the Gowanus Houses.) Passerby can say whatever they want in front of the camera, and they’re uploaded as mini movies, and are also complied as DVDs. This is part of The Broadcaster Project, which seeks to redefine media in an open platform, open access format.

  1. ET, spot on from the picture. Its rickety, can go in unexpected directions, reflects only parts of Brooklyn, and is mainly propelled by a a white guy whose favorite position is bent over.
