We’ve been tracking the progress of the beer garden at 61 Bergen Street so we were excited to learn that the soon-to-open establishment has a name: 61 Local. Its website says the space will also be used as a “cafe and public house.” According to this Yelp review, there was a recent sneak peak and there’s a “great selection of Brooklyn beer.” Sounds promising…anyone been?

Oh sweet, is that what that is? I must’ve missed the earlier posts here about it, walked past a couple of times and saw it open irregularly, figured it was maybe an event space, didn’t guess it was a bar (oh, sorry, “public house”) doing a soft open.
