According to the DOH website, the eatery racked up 50 violation points due to mice, roaches, and food not held at the proper temperature. A tipster just told us about another DOH closure at Monty Q’s Pizza, at 158 Montague. According to the DOH website, the eatery racked up 50 violation points due to mice, roaches, and food not held at the proper temperature. After the permanent shutdown of La Taqueria following the temporary closure by DOH, we wonder how hard it will be for this restaurant to get up to code and get back in business. Update: A commenter and the DOH website have confirmed Monty’s has reopened. It only scored three points on its recent inspection. GMAP
yeah this place was good 8-10 yrs ago. not so much anymore.
I used to love that place…..10 yrs ago.
had a great spinach and ricott slice tuesday and i am still ok….
it’s always a bit chaotic in there. The staff is always running into each other and into customers. They need to work on traffic flow especially at the register, and on cleanliness!
Too bad, the location is golden.
