“Less than six months after renovations began” — The tone of that strikes me as an accomplishment… really? SIX MONTHS to build out a retail space? Not even a restaurant or other store with complicated mechanicals.
Crazy high retail rent combined with SIX MONTHS being considered an accomplishment for a build-out… I’m surprised there are any businesses in this city. But you should NOT be surprised that the only businesses that can accomplish this 1/2-year of huge expense/no revenue are going to be National/International Chain Stores!!!
