The Bridge & Tunnel Club website has a great photo series on the Sunset Park’s gigantic Bush Terminal. Back in 1984, the New York Times called the 6.5 million-square-foot site the “world’s largest multitenant industrial facility.” As you may recall, back in April City and State officials pledged $36 million to spruce up the piers in front of the complex between 43rd and 51st Streets. Who knows what the plans are for the building itself? Anything?

This is a complex of multiple buildings. It is leased out for industrial and commercial use. The plans are to continue to lease it out for industrial and commercial use.
Anything with the name “Bush” in it has GOT to SUCK.
