Turning old and discarded items into new treasures is the fun of HGTV’s Emmy Award-winning show Flea Market Flip. This Saturday, May 6, Flea Market Flip returns to film at LIC Flea & Food. Contestants turn items ready for the junkyard into treasures that visitors at LIC Flea clamor to bring home.
The fun starts as visitors negotiate prices on their favorite pieces and the contestants compete to sell all their items first. Host Lara Spencer joins the fun and crowns the winner right on the spot.
LIC Flea & Food is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. at 5-25 46th Avenue in Long Island City in Queens. Visitors will find global food from entrepreneurial chefs and handcrafted, vintage and curated items along with the only All-Queens Beer Garden.
Shop, eat, kick back and enjoy a brew while gazing at the Manhattan skyline. Plus this weekend you’ll have the opportunity to grab your 15 minutes of fame!
