The best of all worlds will collide this Saturday at the first ever Best of Brooklyn Food and Beer Festival at Industry City on January 28. Among the participating restaurants are Athena Mediterranean Cuisine, Café Grumpy, Chavela’s, Giovanni’s Brooklyn Eats, Beehive Oven, Bareburger, Buttermilk Bakeshop, Kings Highway Bakery, Kulushkat, Kings Highway Bakery, Paesano on 13th, Miti Miti: Modern Mexican, Bogota Latin Bistro, Bean Post Pub, Doughnut Plant, Dinosaur BBQ, Peaches HotHouse, Ho’Brah and Audrey’s Concerto. Food prices will range from $2 to $8.

Beverage providers will include local breweries Brooklyn Brewery, Sixpoint Brewery, Coney Island Brewery, Braven, Greenpoint Beer & Ale and Kelso as well as GuS-Grown-up Soda and Essentia Water.

In addition, the Museum of Food and Drink and Brooklyn Zoo will be on hand. Music will be curated by C’mon Everybody.

The festival will take place on Saturday, January 28, from 12:30 to 8 p.m. at 220 36th Street. Tickets are available for two sessions: I (12:30 to 2:30 p.m.) and II (3:30 to 5:30 p.m.) plus an after party from 6 to 8 p.m.

Both sessions offer early bird tickets that allow entrance a half an hour prior to opening, as well as a souvenir tasting glass. VIP Beer Enthusiast tickets are also available for both sessions, and include early-bird hours, other perks, entertainment and games, a souvenir tasting glass and a copy of the Brokelyn Beer Book.
