My most recent proposal for the renovation of 56 Cambridge Place (which had a decent amount of support from some of the staff members) was shot down by the Landmarks Preservation Committee this past Tuesday when I presented it to them. In light of this, I've decided to ask Mr. Brownstoner to take down the Cambridge Renoblog. I think it will be a long time before I actually have any photos of renovations to show, and the only posts I could possibly be motivated to make for the foreseeable future would be negative rants about my increasing loathing for certain members of the committee. While that might make me feel better, I don't think it would be very constructive, so I think it's best to bow out while I still have positive words to say.
