Testimonials
Aaron recently sold my Manhattan apartment, and after years of working together, this latest experience solidified my view that Aaron is truly one of the top brokers in New York. Working in real estate myself, I experience a lot of different types of brokers, from their personalities, to their ethics, to their ability to close. Aaron gets the highest marks in all categories. With his analytical research of market data, I was able to have an intelligent conversation regarding pricing strategy and timing of bringing the unit to market. Seeing competitive prices in my area in a detailed spreadsheet and listening to his market knowledge, allowed us to develop a strategy for the sale of my apartment that not only went into contract in under one week, but created a bidding war which ultimately achieved a record price for a unit of this size in its market. Aaron handled the multiple bids with finesse, showing his negotiating prowess while managing expectations and maintaining a competitive edge, all while keeping me appropriately aware of the situation and not burdening me with too many details. After we went into contract, Aaron stepped in when we realized the purchaser's broker was not helping his buyers move in the right direction. He carefully guided them so that we could close sooner and submit a comprehensive and organized board package, which he vetted and approved. Ultimately, from start to finish, we were able to achieve a high watermark in the building, a quick contract and close, and an overall satisfied experience, par for the course for working with Aaron. Aaron is the only broker I recommend and have no doubt you will experience the same feeling of achievement as I did by working with Aaron.
Jordan SandersWe would like to apprise you of the excellent service we received from our broker, Aaron Seawood. Mr. Seawood went above and beyond the norm in what proved to be a difficult, drawn out process due to the incompentency of certain individuals associated with this transaction. Had it not been for Aaron's perseverance we shudder to think what might have happened. For a cash sale to take over two months is unheard of but this might never have come to fruition had it not been for his skillful tenacity and perseverance. Highly recommended!!
Aaron Seawood is a fantastic real estate agent. He is honest, thorough, reliable, and really knows his territory. He sold my home in Brooklyn and talked me down from the ceiling more than once. I would never have made it through the process without Aaron. I cannot say enough good things about him, but I can try. Aaron went so far above and beyond to help me sell my home. He was handyman, my decorator, my faithful listener, and so much more. It was a big move for me (leaving NYC after 30 years), and Aaron held my hand the whole way. I would recommend Aaron to anyone. He will not just go the extra mile - he will go ten, twenty extra miles to ensure that you have the best service from day one to close. I am buying a home in Raleigh, NC, and I wish so much that Aaron was here to hold my hand again.
Sheila C.Recently my older son found the perfect apartment in Greenpoint. This makes the search seem as if it was problem free. This was not the case, and we could not have negotiated the process without the expertise and calm counsel of Aaron. Aaron's advice, his preparation, his diligence, but more importantly, his concern that my son be treated with fairness, honesty and integrity, insured that my son would survive the sometimes harrowing process of buying a first apartment in the city, and would ultimately find the perfect first space. Something that gave me great comfort as a parent. I spoke initially to a number of brokers, but, from the first contact, Aaron made clear that his first priority would be to listen to my son and to find a property that ideally suited his needs. I should add that his needs were specific and detailed. He is a professional engineer, so the space & sound requirements were important. The first property we were interested in was already under contract. Aaron explained that it was a "unique" property, and that he would contact us only when he found something he believed was equally unique. Everything he brought to us, from that moment forward, was chosen with an eye toward meeting our needs. At no point did he ask my son to compromise his needs in order to get a deal done. His advice was invaluable in our seeing when a property had "value," and when it would not work for us. Every question we asked was thoroughly researched (and, as we are a two lawyer couple, and I am a builder, we ask a lot of difficult questions). Aaron always got us complete information quickly so that we could make an informed decision. More important, however, than any of this was Aaron's deep and heartfelt humanity. I genuinely knew his first priority was the well being of his client -- my older son. When we initially had an accepted offer on a property and that offer was being used without our knowledge to get a better offer from a third party, Aaron was there through the obvious disappointment, assuring my son that he would find something even more perfect, which he did in a short space. His first concern was to be there as a listening board for my son's concerns. My husband and I felt our son was in the best hands he could be. Aaron is an extraordinary human being, with a unique humanity and integrity in a business that doesn't always encourage those qualities. After this experience, I consider him a part of my family and a trusted friend whose counsel I value. My husband and I can recommend him without hesitation.
Monique Witt, Esq. & Steven A. Rosenblum, Esq.Aaron and his associates were wonderful. My husband and I knew where we wanted to purchase an apartment. He found us the perfect apartment and walk us through the coop application and interview. He even added support at the closing when the management company had a problem with the seller remaining in the apartment for a bit.
Daphne S.What a journey! After moving to NYC and deciding to buy our first home here, we can think of no better team to have helped us navigate the arduous process. Aaron made us feel like family from the start and was there to answer our many, many questions. His knowledge base of the area, diligence and attention to detail made the entire process smoother and fun! From suggesting options for home inspectors to mortgage brokers, Aaron had it all covered. When the finality was daunting for us as first time buyers, Aaron was cool, calm and the eternal optimist who reassured us and gave us the support we needed. But it wasn't over once we signed, Aaron was there for all the post signing fun, too. Plumbers, electricians, painters... you name it, he knows who you should call. Who needs Angie's list when you've got Arron's list! A huge thank you to Aaron and the entire Carte Blanche team for making our dream of being home owners in NYC a reality!
Aaron Seawood is by far the best broker in New York City. I have worked with Aaron on multiple occasions over the past 6 years (finding a spacious 4 bedroom with 3 roommates, finding a fantastic brownstone UWS studio and most recently an amazing studio off Central Park West). He is dedicated to not just finding you an apartment, but the one that works uniquely best for you as your home and within your budget. Aaron is highly knowledgeable and well-known in his field which sets you apart from everyone else in an incredibly competitive market. He always puts in the extra effort to get you to the top of the list so you get the place you want before anyone else. Some of the best characteristics of Aaron is that he is always reliable, sincere and trustworthy. Any moving process can get complicated at times, but Aaron is always there making sure the journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or rent in NYC!
