She just released her second collection of upholstery fabric in collaboration with HBF TEXTILES. Her 2014 collection won the Gold Award at Neocon, North America’s largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors.
Elodie Blanchard designs and produces textiles, installations and custom curtains commissioned by architects for residential, institutional and corporate projects from her studio in New York City. In 2014, she began an ongoing collaboration with HBF Textiles designing upholstery fabric. Her aesthetic is modern and whimsical: each unique piece showcases her ability to take everyday objects—an heirloom quilt, a utilitarian moving blanket, a favorite pair of pants—and transform them into extraordinary textiles with diverse design applications.
