A split chorizo - handmade in Williamsburg by a man who 'does it right' according to our sweetie waiter - gets sautéed and placed on a mini French baguette. Love this place - It's about 15 steps from my old apartment. Food isn't going to win any awards (price is right though) - but the waitstaff is lovely and the place has a pretty laid back vibe for Sunday brunch. My friends and I pretty much swore off Enid's once we went to Beco for the first time.
Oh yeah - try the coconutty whiskey concoction - it's awesome.

I used to live around the corner and come twice a week, and though I've left Wburg, my boyfriend and I still make a point of having a Beco date once a month. It's the perfect spot for a cozy dinner and drink that doesn't feel too decadent. Great Brazilian music, and the waitstaff is so kind and thoughtful and if you keep coming back they'll remember you. The pao de queijo and salada da roca are delicious, as are the sandwiches. I'm so happy to see that business is picking up. They deserve it.
