"Since July 1999, many in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area have adopted Enid's as a home away from home. From young hipsters to Polish Seniors, laptop junkies to dogs, this spacious bar takes all... Dinner is served nightly, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm Enid's is packed for brunch, offering hearty, home-style plates with a southern twist and weekly pancake specials," says Free Williamsburg.

"The flea-market couches and scattered tables and chairs complete the understated decor, though a big wall-hanging camel made out of gold sequins adds flair," says Citysearch. And Ken Miller for New York magazine comments on the clientele: "The boys are all cute in that skinny, squeeze-him-till-he-breaks kind of way; the girls just wanna ride their pony-print shirts into an airbrushed '80s sunset." How would you rate Enid's?

one word: overrated.

caveat: i haven't been in almost two years since i moved out of willy b, but i don't think this place is anything special.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Food is eh, service sucks - but it's a total sh*tshow that can be quite entertaining. Can be okay if you go during the week and get a seat on the sidewalk, or go late night for the bar scene.

Never really had good food here but its not a bad place to meet friends for a drink. If it wasn't for the location, would anyone really go here?

that picture misses the point without their usual outdoor tables - it's a weekend brunch place to be seen if you're young. their location and charm are everything.

I haven't been back in years, but I used to love that they had the arcade version of Paper Boy there. I loved that game. Is it still there? Also Joe Gaer used to do awesome DJ nights there.

The apogee of mediocrity, with a crowd to match.

Haven't been since 1999. They had Pimm's cups, as I recall.

$9 for shitty eggs? Fuck that!

It's okay as a bar if you are very young and very drunk.
