Bristen's Eatery

Blogger Ayelet Like It Is recommends Bristen's "lovely outdoor patio and great sandwiches." And the Brooklyn Paper adds that "paninis aren’t the only thing on the menu. Bristen’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner — with an all day breakfast menu. [Owner-chef Carleen] Haughton says that customers love the 'chicken and waffles' and the grilled lamb is a favorite entree."
"They serve breakfast until 4. The people who work there are very nice. They have WIFI. The coffee is delicious though not strong," says Yelper Naheed C. And fellow Yelper Anita S. is a fan of "the grits-n-cheese with sausage" and "the BYO-cup for $1 coffee." How would you rate this place?

My boyfriend and I loved this place when it first opened. We live on the same block as Bristen's. It was a welcome site in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the attention to quality of food is not the same now. The sandwiches used to be fantastic, now they're medicre at best. The patio is nice and the WIFI is a plus.

I have to check this one out. Always in the market for a nice brunch spot on weekends.

I was very excited about Bristens when it opened, especially since Sage (Park Place + Franklin) closed, but it's not even remotely vegetarian friendly and the coffee is always burnt.

I love this place for Brunch. Eggs Benedict is usually my barometer, but it was a little lackluster here. Then I tried the chicken and waffles. Wow. Delicious! Never gotten anything else since.
