Fez

Fez in Windsor Terrace may seem tiny upon first glance, but according to Sealand Travel Club, "It’s a mirage. Walk through the kitchen, past the bathrooms, and find yourself in the midst of a true Saharan feast. A large tent overhangs half of the back garden, with the other half left for the open air and tiki lamps."
And Yelper Elizabeth S. calls it "the only decent restaurant I've found in Windsor Terrace so far. The food is pretty basic middle eastern-- nothing too special, but always comfort-y and well prepared. The waitress was sweet, the space is lovely, the Turkish coffee is to DIE for and the prices are relatively reasonable."
Good Moroccan food is hard to come by in New York, and Chowhound Barry Strugatz prefers the lamb and chicken tagines at Fez to those at La Maison du Couscous in Bay Ridge. Fellow 'Hound JenMarie66 writes, "I can't say the food truly blew us away, but we sat and ate and drank wine... for 3 hours with really sweet service in a great garden. For a Sat. night in Brooklyn, it's hard to beat that." How would you rate this place?

I really like this place, especially when it's warm enough to eat in the beautiful garden.

We've enjoyed eating at Fez since it first opened. It is a labor of love for its native Moroccan owner, who has developed a fine menu and a lovely setting.
