"The wings looked good enough. They’re the right size and color... They’re not bad. I’ve been to Buffalo. I’ve tasted the real deal. I have a very high standard when it comes to wings... These were ok. Tolerable. But not perfect," writes Eating Brooklyn after visiting the Atomic Wings on Smith Street.

Yelper Heather D. appreciates the delivery option at the Park Slope location: "I got lunch time delivery and had no problem with it. I don't think I'll be eating in anytime soon - it looks pretty sterile with a bunch of TVs everywhere, which is not my scene. Since Bonnie's doesn't deliver their wings, I now have a go-to wing place in the Slope."

The Atomic Wings menu also includes popcorn shrimp, buffalo calamari, chili, sandwiches, and sides like mac and cheese. Yelper tiffanie n. writes: "I got the chicken quesadilla and it was kind of dry...nothing wow. Something I could've made at home instead of paying $8 for." Is there anything else worth ordering besides wings? And how do these wings compare to Bonnie's?

Atomic Wings are my culinary guilty pleasure. I love the honey mustard and the suicidal ones. I've been to Buffalo a bunch of times and would say these ones can go toe to toe (or is that wing to wing?) with them. Decent wafer fries too. Glad they are a bit of a hike from Brooklyn Heights or I would have another 10 pounds to lose.

Hot diggity, I love wings. These aren't the best, but they'll do in a pinch and are better than A LOT of other places. And they're not breaded, which is great. They're about 20 for $14, which isn't great for price though.

I never had their wings [can't stand them--ugh!] but the burgers are OK. I miss Cafe de Paris, their predecessor, which was pretty good before. it's decline (which involved at least two DOH closures).

I'm a big fan of Atomic Wings for delivery when the wife and I don't feel like cooking. My favorite is the quesadillas, both chicken and beef. The key is to get 'em soaked in hot sauce. We order over the web, and it gets to us in 20 minutes or so.

Rob, I went to Hooters one time in my life. I had a couple of wings (which were awful) and then picked one up and swore I saw a hair fried into one of them. I never went back.

I was disappointed. I ordered take out, they got my order a bit wrong, the place had an unpleasant smell, and the wings weren't very good, the order also .seemed to take too long.

Had it once - horrible - all skin,no meat swimming in sauce.

Hate to say it but the best wing I have had in Brooklyn is at Buffalo Wild Wings in Atlantic Terminal. You got to get the right sauce (hot or medium) - as some of their special sauces are horrible (and not a Buffalo Wing) but good meat, properly fried and moist.

Brooklyn is not a hot bed of good Buffalo Wings.

This works as staple for delivery, as a wing delivery place it is good. They are not the best wings but they are good enough to have a franchise. I like the wings the sauces are pretty good, the burgers are good but greasy! This place is everything I would expect it to be for a franchised wing delivery place! There wafer fries are great! For just pure junk food delivered to your door in 20 minutes it is good!

The best wings in the hood are at Bonnies and then Dram Shop! If you are going to go out with the intention of wing go there. I miss brooklyn burger, they made good wings for delivery too!

-Bob as for Cafe de Paris the little coffee shop between smiling pizza and Uncle Louies on 7th is run by the same people.

Hooters wings are some of the best country, but they depend on once the particular franchise. BWW are good for a franchise!

Wing Wagon on Flatbush Ave. is my favorite wing place

I get the boneless ones there a lot... "nuclear" is my favorite sauce (that's one down from the hottest). I actually think this chain has the best wings in the city; I've tried them at many places (20+ or so, I imagine), and they get my vote for the best in all of NYC. Their prices are pretty good, too (a pound of boneless wings, fries & a drink for 8 bucks, I think). The employees are slightly better than your run-of-the-mill fast-food types... not as bad as McD's, and the like.
