"The large space comprises a bar area with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a banquette-lined back room, a glass-ceilinged indoor patio, and a large roof garden with its own bar. Throughout is a romantic mix of French country, deco, and Art Nouveau—warmly lit by antique light fixtures. The menu is equally classic, with an assortment of salads followed by favorites like moules, steak frites, and a Niçoise salad," writes Andrew Sessa for New York magazine.

"The wine list is crammed with bargains (many solid bottles hit the $25 mark), and the kitchen pulls off some pretty neat tricks, too. Seared Cape Cod squid marries fruity-sweet with citrusy-tart, by way of jalapeño and watermelon; steak au poivre showcases the kick of superfresh pink, green and black peppercorns with a knockout veal reduction," says Time Out New York.

"At first glance, it doesn’t seem to belong in Williamsburg. You’ll probably spot more strollers and pleated khakis at Juliette than skinny black pants, leggings and converse hightops, but it makes sense. Especially 2 weekends ago when it was 90°F and the wait at Egg next door was barely moving at a snails pace," writes Plate of the Day. How would you rate this place?

This place is not bad. Food is decent, and a tad overpriced. They make up for it by having pretty inexpensive wine, and a great looking space. Roof deck is great during warm weather. So even if your escargot is a little bland - wash it down with a bottle of wine and enjoy the view

We went for our wedding anniversary. We sat on the patio. We felt old and we are only in our mid thirties. The patio is nice but the tables are small and right on top of each other, so not too romantic. The main dining room was more romantic.

Food of was ok, the menu was very similar to Pomme De Terre in Ditmas Park.

I am actually a really big fan of this place. They do steaks great and you can get a decent bottle of wine on the cheap. I actually eat brunch here pretty often and laugh at the suckers who are still waiting for egg as I am finishing up my meal. Service is a little spotty and there have been a couple of not so great meals, but all-in-all, one of my go-to places.

Plate of the Day seems to have their media hype goggles on.

I've had some okay meals here and some not-so-okay ones. All in all, a big 'eh'. A shame, too -- the room is very nice.

Great. Rooftop service can be spotty, but a seriously great brunch with minimal wait. Totally recommend to friends.

The roof is nice, but the food is very mediocre. Mussels and wine on the roof is what this place has going for it. Service is fine. Staff is always 'new'.
