Nectar

Nectar is a sliver of a juice joint with a selection of salads, sandwiches, and soups, and it's one of our favorite spots for grabbing lunch to-go. Yelper Charlotte C. says, "Their juices are wonderful - try the pear nectar, or any of their peach smoothies. Oh man. And the sandwiches are lovely, simple, delicious, and very well-priced. The avocado/sweet potato sandwich is delish." Fellow Yelper Kelly M. has another recommendation: "We're addicted to the Moroccan Lamb Wrap which kicks the pants off the rest of the sandwiches." Chowhound cazique adds that Nectar "has a nice breakfast burrito... you can get it with bacon or chorizo."
Eat It enjoys Nectar's chicken soup: "It's loaded down with big chunks of tasty white meat, lots of pasta shells, pieces of tomato and slices of carrots and celery. The broth is hearty, soothing and fresh; homemade from the best ingredients... They also toss in half a loaf of a sourdoughy white bread that's really good." And Chowhound vatl619 notes, "While nectar doesn't always have the ingredients that your fully stocked Hale & Hearty might, Nectar does do make your own salads... my personal fave at Nectar is: cucumber, hearts of palm, avocado, beets, red onion, carrots, grilled chicken in their tahini dressing." How would you rate this place?

A great little place with reasonably priced, excellent wraps. Only minor complaint would be that they take like 20 minutes to make whatever you order. So if you are in a rush or just impatient (yes, like me!), this isn't your best option.

Huh. Never even thought to try this place. But the reviews above make it sound mighty appealing...

I used to love this place (esp the avocado/sweet potato sandwich) until one night I got food poisoning from the portobello mushroom salad. Needless to say, I will never go back. They are also incredibly slow...

I love this place. Wraps and smoothies are very yummy. The staff is good. Can be a little slow, and crowded. Get your stuff to go for sure. [Or maybe he needs a bigger shop?!]

I've never eaten here, but I always stop by for one of their very reasonably prices juices whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

I go here often, everything is delicious. My only complaint is that I wish they would ban strollers. Sometimes you have to climb over them to get to the counter, and I know the staff abhors the strollers also as it makes carrying boxes of food in imposibble for them.

Good place. I like the egg and chorizo wrap for breakfast with a fruit shake.
Agree about them being slow.
