Picking Paint Colors

We are extremely lucky that an interior designer friend of ours volunteered her time this past weekend to help with paint color selection. For us, this is much more daunting than ripping open walls and picking fixtures. This can really make or break the finished product, in our opinion. Hopefully we got it right.

Don't be intimidated- walls can always be repainted. Worry about the irreversable stuff!

Great color, though, and wonderful tub!!

we went crazy and ordered farrow and ball online- just for the parlor and the stairwell- the parlor is a muted green/blue color that almost reads as it has a grey in it- so it looks soft- and for the hall a pale powder color that well reflect well with the light that comes in from the skylight- it took us months to finally decide and we paint this weekend- i hope it looks good, after a certain point we just went for it

We're doing Farrow and Ball for all the colors and Benjamin Moore for the white...

We'll try to get back to you on the color choices. Each room is different, except for the second floor living/music/dining area which will be one color.

we painted the parlor with fb blue green and we were going for a more muted understated color (but with color)and we think we don't like the result now- i loved it at first and now it doesn't feel warm enough in the room- we did do the sample pots to check other colors but not this one specifically figuring it would go on forever and those pots add up... mistake number 457- i guess well change it for the winter and live with it for now.
