what brand washer & dryer did you buy?

here's another place we splurged a little. we got the whirlpool duet. I'm a consumer reports fanatic and they are very highly rated AND i've had bad luck with cheap washers and dryers. since we plan to be here for a while we decided to go for the good stuff.

By the way, the cheap ceiling light is just a $10 placekeeper from Home Depot...

It's just like a typical Boston rowhouse/bowfront! Same molding around the archway and everything...

We did the same thing with our washer and dryer, though the splurge was at the beginning of the renovations so it seems less expensive then! Great washer and dryer though.
