this is a cool option for a wallpaper look.

there were great stenciled patterns in my old west village apt. and when they painted over it I was really sad. so I researched stencil patterns and found this site. I plan to use them in our house.

Are you nuts! It's gonna attract squirrels.

The wallpaper is hand lino-block printed by marthe armitage, a designer in England, whose work is available from Hamilton Weston - also in England. they don't have any of her work on their site, but can send you files with examples on request. we were blown away by all of her designs and settled on this oak leaf pattern because i have a family thing with acorns...World of Interiors Magazine did a profile of her work in January, i think...

hi Mrs.,
again I love the wallpaper, so cool! we just bought a brownstone but we can't do cosmetic renovations or much decorating for a while. we used all of our savings and more to buy the place and fix up the rental. So I'm really looking forward to decorating down the road, when we've saved up again. I hope you guys continue to document when you start buying furniture and it all comes together. I love you taste so far.
