The Price for Pink in Park Slope? $2,075,000

This sale did not make the Biggest Sales cut yesterday, but the pink townhouse at 233 Garfield hit public records last week for $2,075,000. The home was first listed in 2009 with a price of $2,500,000, but was soon pulled off the market. It came back this January for $2,395,000. Streeteasy shows that it entered contract five months later. Back in January, we said, “It will definitely need a lot of work but there’s plenty of enticing raw material to work with: Mantels, parquet floors, beaucoup woodwork, etc.” Wonder if the new owner will keep the pink paint…
