The house is beautiful, but the renovation is unfortunate. The stained glass and the original tile entrance are especially nice. Maybe some plaster can be added to the walls, although all those soffits, protruding closets, down lights, and new finishes probably aren’t going anywhere. Kudos to them for rebuilding the stair, though. What’s your opinion…

When I see renovations like this, the house drops in value (for me). I figure it’ll cost (me) so much to re-renovate this house that it’s only worth about $400k (to me).
