Cute, cute, cute! That’s about all we can think when we look at this Georgian Revival house at 2109 Albemarle Terrace in the in the Kenmore-Albemarle Terrace Historic District of Victorian Flatbush. Except for the tiles on the floor of the dining room, the house is steeped in old school cred, with beautiful parquet floors, moldings, skylights and a gorgeous center stair. So now the big question: Is it worth $889,000?

  1. It seems a little unfair that a professional broker who has worked for years at a well-known firm gets to have his reputation besmirched (that’s right, I said besmirched) by an anonymous speculative comment. Thanks internets.

    P.S. Duel at dawn!

  2. It’s ironic that people consider the Terraces to be an island of historic houses when they are right at the center of colonial Flatbush, next door to the landmarked Dutch Reformed Church with its ancient graveyard, tall oak trees, and revolutionary war history and with Erasmus High across the street surrounding the original school built by the Dutch in the 18th century. On the south side is a large turn of the century church. The prewar brick apartment buildings on E. 21st for the most part have their entrances on the next block over and they are quiet. Most houses on either terrace have nice views of the churches or other houses on the terrace and their lovely joined backyards. Come and see for yourself.
