It’s in the J.W. Weber house, a grand, neo-Georgian mansion at the corner of 8th Avenue and President Street, which holds eight other units.

It appears to be on the top floor of a three-story walkup — note the huge living-room skylight and the roof rights — which is both good and bad news, depending on your point of view.

The living room is a winner, with double exposures, high ceilings, the aforementioned skylight, wooden moldings, and a wood-burning fireplace with a wood mantel and fetching green tile. There’s an adjacent dining area, alongside one of several groovy curved walls.

The kitchen is small and has no window, but it’s a nice one, recently renovated with ample cupboards and a pantry. So are the baths — there’s a full master bath with a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi tub and a second half-bath.

The master bedroom is large; the second one is good-sized, at just over 80 square feet. It lacks an internal closet, but there’s one across the hall.

Listed by Jessica Buchman and Tim Rettaliata of Corcoran, the unit carries monthly common charges of $1,185. The price tag is $1.395 million, not cheap for a two-bedroom that appears to be around 900 square feet. But like we said, it’s a nice one. Think it’s worth it?
