Sure, this new duplex penthouse listing at 189 Bridge Street is massive (5,100 square feet) and has killer views from nine outdoor spaces but at the end of the day we can’t get on board with the design choices. It feels a little too much like a Trump wannabe, with the marble floors, the curved mezzanines and staircases and an out-of-place Palladian-ish transom window. A little harsh? Maybe, but this building has always struck us as architecturally challenged. For $5,500,000, we’d expect a little better.

at any rate, the price is ridiculous for the surrounding area.
Everyone always misses the point. The high price is because you are a 5 minute cab ride to the Manhattan. Poor timing though. If they would have waited until the new “DUMBO Heights” that the Kushners are building was done, it would get snatched at ask.
