This three-bedroom co-op has a nicely updated kitchen and bathroom and three good-sized bedrooms, with respectable light, decent closet space and some parquet floors. It’s in a prewar building at 2022 Beverley Road, a 12-unit, self-managed building between Ocean Avenue and East 21st Street.

That puts it in just plain Flatbush, rather than one of the fancier-named micro nabes, but it’s west of Flatbush Avenue and close to Prospect Park South, shopping on Cortelyou Road in and around Ditmas Park, and the recently refurbished King’s Theatre.

The layout covers the basics: three livable bedrooms, a moderate sized living room, a smallish kitchen, a handful of closets and a single bathroom. As noted, all the bedrooms are amply sized; one’s likely to be dark as it has just one window.

The living room and largest bedroom offer good windows, though if this is a first-floor apartment, which it appears to be, they front out onto the street, which isn’t great for privacy and may present noise issues.

The kitchen is a nice one, smartly renovated and offering granite countertops, ample storage and a breakfast bar that opens to the living room.

There’s a washer/dryer in the unit (in the kitchen) and designated storage and bike space in the basement. The building offers a common courtyard, and has “strong financials” and a “flexible sublet policy,” according to the listing, from Douglas Elliman brokers Sarah Zelermyer-Diaz, Marc Karavasian and Karen Zelermyer. Maintenance runs $930 a month.
