Fall house hunting season is officially in full swing, and if you’re in the market for property it’s a good time to get busy. As usual, we’ve selected four that are ripe for eyeballing this weekend — they can be found in Fort Greene, Park Slope, Red Hook and Crown Heights.

First up, abutting Fort Greene Park, at 203 Washington Park, we’ve got a five story townhouse with a two-bedroom owner’s duplex on the bottom two floors and three apartments above. The duplex was thoroughly renovated in 2005 in a modern style, with walls of glass in the rear and radiant-heated concrete floors. There’s a salt-water hot tub in the rear garden, so that’s an uncommon perk, and quite a nice one. There are no photos of the rest of the house, so condition/appearance there is an open question.

In Park Slope on 7th Street, we’ve got a narrow (16 feet) four-story townhouse with a center staircase that’s been nicely and thoroughly renovated. Some nice detail in this one, including five fireplaces and a lovely stained glass fan window in the front parlor. It’s set up as a one-family, with the marble-floored kitchen on the garden level and five bedrooms on the top two floors. The basement is finished; there’s a backyard sprinkler system, alarm, bike closet, integrated audio system and a two-zoned heating and cooling system. Note the solid marble bathtubs in two of the bathrooms — from India, according to the listing.

On Pioneer Street in Red Hook we’ve got a rustic charmer with beamed ceilings, wide-plank floors and a pair of wood-burning fireplaces. There’s a two-bedroom duplex with a terrace on the top two floors; below that is an open floor with a kitchen and bath that’s currently used as a home office and guest space, but could be a rental unit. There’s a garage in the rear accessible via a private alley, which is “big enough for a car and a workshop,” or could serve some other purpose. Roof and high-efficiency boiler/hot water heater are new.

Last, at 1985 Pacific Street in Crown Heights North, we’ve got a flip, gut renovated. It’s a four-story with a five-bedroom duplex up top and a second duplex below, which has a master bedroom, open kitchen and living room on the upper floor and a bunch of windowless space below designated as a rec room and office/storage space. There’s a garden in back and parking space in front.
