This week, we’re looking back to the end of April and checking in on how four of our featured listings fared on the market.

To start things off, we have a mid-19th century Carroll Gardens four-family, brick townhouse at 298 Union Street that is exceptionally large and has retained some interesting details. There appear to be several marble fireplaces throughout the building and what looks like well-preserved crown moldings in the parlor — and 14-foot ceilings. This House of the Day sold in August for $3.75 million, $50,000 under the asking price.

Next, there’s a tree-shaded Edwardian with a pile of space, a wraparound porch and some original details in the Fiske Terrace-Midwood Park Historic District. It’s in the Midwood Park end of the district, on a huge (87′ by 116′, according to the listing) corner lot at 654 East 17th Street. This House of the Day is still available for $1.975 million, a bump up of $155,000.

Then, we have a two-bedroom co-op that isn’t any great work of architectural splendor, but it’s got a large master bedroom, a good-sized living space, a user-friendly layout and low maintenance charges. It’s on the top floor of a six-story, 60-unit building at 1125 Lorimer Street in Greenpoint. This Co-op of the Day sold in July for $935,000, $60,000 above the asking price.

And to close it out, we have a freestanding house with a wraparound porch in Bay Ridge, on 77th Street. It’s a beaut, huge, full of fine original detail, and in prime condition. It’s got coffered ceilings, wainscoting, pocket doors, built-ins, stained and leaded glass, and a wood-burning fireplace. There are seven bedrooms, four baths, a renovated kitchen with dual Liebherr refrigerators and an 8-burner Viking range, a finished basement with a full bath, a private driveway and a garage. This Open House Pick is currently in contract.
