Two adjacent commercial properties in a prominent Brooklyn Heights location have sold for $15,250,000, reported Massey Knakal, which brokered the sale. The buyer and future plans for the buildings at 76-80 Court Street were not disclosed. The building at the southwest corner of Livingston Street, 76 Court, consists of one commercial unit on the ground floor and office space above. The building next door at 80 Court Street also contains a commercial unit on the ground floor but has four residential apartments above. The deal worked out to approximately $600 per square foot, said the firm.
76 Court Street was the first public high school in Brooklyn. It should be landmarked IMO.
